Christopher’s proposal to me was quite romantic. He proposed on my 33rd birthday, September 22, 2008. Christopher had taken me away for the weekend to the Hughes Hacienda, a beautiful bed & breakfast in the foothills outside of Colorado Springs.
We spent the day together – brunch on the patio, antique shopping in Cañon City, lunch at the British Pub at the Broadmoor Hotel. When we arrived back at the B&B that evening, we relaxed in the hot tub in the courtyard and enjoyed just being together. After we tired of the hot water, Christopher and I went to the back patio to watch the stars, still in our robes and bathing suits.
After a while, Christopher started getting a little nervous, telling me how great he thinks I am and how much he loves me. All of a sudden he was on one knee, asking me to accept his great-grandmother’s ring and to marry him. In tears, I said YES!
My beautiful engagement ring was a gift from https://xanaxnow.com/buy-accutane-online
Christopher’s great-grandfather Charles Bishop to his great-grandmother, Nellie Bishop, on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversay in 1942. Fortunately, the ring fits perfectly, so we didn’t have to make any adjustments and ruin the ring’s engraving, “C.T.B to N.B 1917-1942.”
